Subscriptions at the Centre

The Avatar Meher Baba Bombay Centre, since its inception in the year 1962, has been functioning on the basis of a written constitution as mandated by Beloved Baba Himself. This constitution lays down the rules and regulations for appointments of Trustees and Office Bearers, general administration rules and management of the financial requirements of the Centre. As you are well aware, the Centre’s only source of income has been donations over the last many years. These donations are used as part of a corpus so created and the same is aligned with the core Trust Deed to spread Beloved Baba’s name and work amongst the masses. So, while donations help us manage the expenses of our ever increasing number of activities and programs, regular monthly subscriptions as mandated by the constitution, are used for the general upkeep of Meher Hall, payment of electricity bills, society maintenance charges, correspondence with Baba lovers and others etc. With increase in the cost of living over the last many years, the Board of Trustees had decided to revamp the Subscription Policy with effect from 1st January 2015. A new category of Patron Members for Life had also been introduced. So you now have an option of being a Patron Member for Life by paying a one-time amount of Rs.5000/- only. For all students and children below the age of 18 years as on 1st January 2015, they can become Patron Members for Life by paying Rs.2000/- only. For those who do not wish to be Patron Members, they have the option of paying an annual subscription amount of Rs.250/- every year or Rs. 20/- every month. With a view to streamline this process, we solicit your cooperation in paying your annual subscription every year in the month of January itself. Period of subscriptions will be January to December. Payments can now be made to Ms. Binaifer Mandroina (M: 9820379777) and email: [email protected] at the Centre on every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday (after 7:30 pm). We solicit your kind cooperation in ensuring that subscriptions are paid on time.
