(Nov. 1962) One mast, Dhondi Bua, always remained naked and used to roll in the dirt. He used to say: “I cannot bear comfort!” He suffered a lot; yet I did not shower my grace on him. How then can I shower it on you who have not yet suffered hardly anything in love?
Love such as the masts have is very, very rare. And fortunately, therefore, it is not necessary for you to possess that in order to attain God. Obedience alone is enough for you. All you have to do is to obey me and nothing else will matter. It is as easy as that to attain what is well-nigh impossible to attain.
I have explained a lot of things. Rumi says: “Words have no meaning; become the man of Experience! And for that, become effaced – become dust at the feet of the Perfect Master.”
